Travel, journey, movement, ebb and flow... these were the thoughts that inspired my contribution to the piece. I imagined the worlds we visit in our dreams, a transient, often fragmented landscape, that flows seamlessly from one vision to another.
We rarely question our dreams whilst we are in them, we live for a brief moment in a world of magical realism, a place that can be both liberating and terrifying. The constraints of our waking lives are perhaps what keep us feeling safe and unchallenged, but we must move, we must make of our lives a journey and we must allow ourselves to expand, contract, and expand again.
“I don't pay attention to the
world Ending.
It has ended for me
many Times
and began again in the morning.”
